What NOT to Do when You Have Tingling Feet

When you have tingling feet, there are a few things you should NOT do:

  1. Don't panic. It's probably not neuropathy (yet).
  2. Don't ignore it. You could be diabetic.
  3. Don't Google your symptoms. You will just end up convincing yourself that you have a rare disease that is somehow both terminal and incurable.
  4. Don't try to self-diagnose. See a doctor instead.
  5. Don't forget that tingling feet can also be caused by something as simple as wearing ill-fitting shoes.

So, if your tingling feet are caused by neuropathy, diabetes, or shoes that are too tight, remember: there is no need to panic. Just see a doctor and take care of yourself.
